Witnessing a Hatching at High Point Academy

Our pupils noticed a surprise arrival upon their return to school this week. Local chicken raisers Birmingham Silkies donated us some of their chicken eggs to enable the pupils to witness the incredible experience of hatchery. Normally, all these chicks would have been hatched at Birmingham Silkies and be homed ethically or kept within the Birmingham Silkie home, but we’ve been kindly given the opportunity to share this amazing experience with our pupils.
