It’s Children in Need on Friday 17th November. We are excited to be joining others around the UK in raising money for this wonderful charity. Read here to find out how we will be taking part:
Children in need is a charity that aims to offer every child in the UK a safe, happy, and secure childhood. For these reasons, they hold an important place in our hearts. This Friday, children and staff will be celebrating Children in Need by participating in a range of fun activities to raise funds for this amazing charity.
We are proud to be joining schools across the Forward Education Trust in making a huge difference to children’s lives in our City and the rest of the UK. Across Birmingham, Children in Need supports many local charities: The Open Doors Project, Square Peg Activities, Big Top Musical Adventures and many more.
Throughout the day on Friday, children at High Point Academy will be taking part in the following fun filled fundraising activities:
- A Cake / snacks / drinks sale
- Penalty shootout area
- Pudsey and blush colouring in and making Pudsey face masks
- Music on with a dancing area
- Wearing own clothes
